Albert J. Nader, CEO, Questar Inc.
Albert Nader founded Questar in 1985 as an original programming company for television and home video, distributing documentary, family, inspirational programs to the retail industry. The company also distributes home video for PBS Nature and Reader’s Digest. Questar acquired New Dimension Media in 2001, a 25-year old education video company, serving over 100,000 K-12 schools. The company distributes its products through Wal-Mart, Costco, Sam’s Clubs, Columbia House, Barnes & Noble, Borders, Amazon.com, and the CBA (Christian Booksellers Association). Questar has produced original programming for PBS, The Discovery Channel, TLC, The Travel Channel and The History Channel. A graduate of DePaul University, Chicago, Nader began his career as a writer working with WBBM-TV (CBS, Chicago), WFLD-TV (Metromedia, Fox, Chicago), CBS-FM Network (New York), WLS-AM (ABC, Chicago), WAIT-AM (Century Broadcasting, Chicago).
