Who is Harold Weitzberg?
Mr. Harold Weitzberg President/CEO Weitzberg Consulting, Inc. has over
20 years experience in sales, distribution, marketing, p
ublicity, merchandising
and introducing and building consumer products and brand franchises in
the consumer and entertainment marketplace.
Weitzberg Consulting, Inc. is a firm established in 1994 that advises
in the development, branding, marketing, licensing, production and
distribution of entertainment, informational, consumer and electronic
products and brands domestically and internationally.
He is presently working with the Hip Hop Kidz (featured in the Macy’s
Thanksgiving Day Parade), Katrina Barillova Fitness programs and Candace
Cameron’s KREW program, BOZ Licensing program and Vergence Media
development. Other clients have included Big Idea Productions (VeggieTales),
Sweet Lorraine Productions, Parachute Publishing (R.L. Stine Goosebumps),
Blackboard Entertainment/Magic Johnson Entertainment, Interactive Learning
Group, JNCO Entertainment, Little Hardhats, Rick Dees Enterprises as
well as a number of other children and entertainment properties. Additional
brands developed include The Jane Fonda Workout Series, The Richard
Simmons Workout Series, Angela Lansbury, Rita Moreno, Weston Woods
Children’s Programs.
Weitzberg Consulting has also been involved in developing marketing and branding strategies in other market areas including Healthcare, Holistic Health, Finance and Consumer Products.
Mr. Weitzberg has held executive positions with Karl Lorimar Home Video, Child’s Play Video, and Wood Knapp Video and Dualstar Entertainment.
Mr. Weitzberg has been a national board member of the COALITION OF QUALITY CHILDREN’S MEDIA (www.CQCM.org) for the past 8 years.
Mr. Weitzberg has a Master’s Degree in Education and has completed
post graduate Doctoral course work in Educational Administration at
New York University.
