Who is Jere Rae-Mansfield?
Jere Rae-Mansfield joined monterey media inc. in 1982
and serves in multiple capacities as Chief Financial Officer and Managing
Partner as well as overseeing
monterey¹s Creative Departments. (monterey is the second oldest independent
video manufacturer in the industry specializing in unique entertainment
such as Multi-Platinum RIAA and ITA Award-winning Grateful Dead concerts, celebrated
sports programming including the Bruce Brown Films franchise of motorcycle (³On
Any Sunday²) and surf (³The Endless Summer II²) films, as well
a prestigious library of films adapted from literature¹s best form PBS and
the AFI.
Following college at the University of California at San Diego, she
became a working Screen Actors Guild member. And working under her
maiden name of Jere Lea Rae, she has been a member for over 25 years.
Creativity combined with a keen business sense has led Jere to become
an accomplished producer, having produced food, toy and political
commercials, and two feature films, she now oversees production of
multiple award-winning in-house projects for monterey.
Community minded, Jere has served multiple terms on the National Board
for the Coalition for Quality Children¹s Media, two terms as
President and two as Vice President for the Video Industry AIDS Action
Committee and heads monterey's outreach for philanthropy.
Jere has been recognized by Video Business Magazine as "Women
to Watch", by VIAAC as a "Visionary" and by Who¹s
Who in Corporate America.
