RaeAnne Marsh

In addition to working with KIDS FIRST! as newsletter editor, RaeAnne is also editor of Phoenix-based monthly In Business Magazine and editorial director for the magazine’s parent company In Media Company.

Her career in journalism began during her earlier career as a teacher when she had the opportunity to be involved with the development of a language arts enrichment program that mixed literature, drama and art — and her rendition of Jewish folktale “It Could Be Worse” was one of the series of books distributed through Amazon.com. Not long after completing that project, she became managing editor and lead writer for a start-up local lifestyle magazine.

Since founding her company, Grammar & Glitz Inc., in 2002, she has taken writing and editing gigs with corporations and publications nationwide. This includes working with Moving Pictures magazine as managing/online editor from 2004 to 2010. She holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA.

Eighteen years as a Girl Scout leader and trainer is part of her extensive involvement in community service organizations. She currently focuses her volunteer efforts on Rosie’s House: A Music Academy for Children, and has served many years on the board of directors of this nonprofit that provides instruments and free, professional music instruction to the underserved youth of Phoenix.
