Hollywood is calling all 6-15 year old movie-loving kids! Join the KIDS FIRST! Film Critics' Search now through October 20th for the chance to become one of FIVE official KIDS FIRST! Film Critics. Winners will be sent to Red Carpet events and advance movie screenings where they will review new family films, interview celebrities and blog about upcoming films. Beginning in August, KIDS FIRST® is conducting a nationwide search for five kids to become official KIDS FIRST! Film Critics.
- Winners will be sent to red carpet events and advance film screenings on behalf of KIDS FIRST! for a full year. Additionally, one lucky winner will be awarded a $10,000 college scholarship courtesy of Stepping Stones Entertainment.
- The overall focus of the program is to teach children healthy media habits.
- The campaign is open to children between the ages of six and 15 and runs through October 20, 2010.

KIDS FIRST! Film Critics' Search is a project of the Coalition for Quality Children's Media, a national, 19-year-old, nonprofit (501-c-3) organization that is a voluntary collaboration between the media industry, educators and child advocacy organizations. The mission of the Coalition is: 1) To teach children to become critical media users and; 2) To increase the visibility and availability of quality children's media.
