When you remember that folk tales originally contained some pretty grim consequences, you won't have a problem with the wolf gobbling up the grandma. |

Classic, familiar tales, in original version. More violent than contemporary stories but the violence is well handled. Granny emerges from the wolf's stomach after being eaten in Little Red Riding Hood, and comments that it's too dark to read in there. |

Held kids' attention until the end. Each child seemed to relate to a different story best. Chicken Little was a favorite, perhaps because it was the least familiar. Three Little Pigs was also a big hit. |
