An impressive student production with talented use of the camera, good music, and good storyline. There is a certain naivety. i.e. A poor immigrant family being able to afford to live right on the coast in southern California. The friendship that emerges between these two young people from such different backgrounds is in and of itself not unlike many similar stories but the connect of the music between them is unique.
Li Shen is a Chinese boy whose mother brings him to America in hopes of starting over. He finds he has a hard time fitting in to this new community, until his love of the Viola wins him a friend.
