When Sporty sees a Robobird flying past his gymnasium one day, he wonders what it would be like to fly, and decides he will find out. Stretchy, meanwhile, is having a spot of bother with two magnets that seem very much attracted to him. With Rusty's help, Sporty tries to fly, but meets with scant success. Tiny's assistance with magnet removal from Stretchy bears similar lack of fruit, until they accidentally discover that, by turning the magnets around, their magnetic force is reversed. This discovery leads to a happy ending for Sporty. He can fly!
