Sofia, a 12-year-old girl has just lost her Dad. She cannot understand the world that is surrounding her anymore. In this moment of her innermost pain, she remembers a bedtime story her father told her - the story of Marco, a boy who no matter how hard he looks up to the sky cannot see his father. His father has died, just like Sofia's Dad. Sofia's story and Marco's become parallel stories and in the end they get mixed up.
