Lovely presentation of a classic story. As a short it is idea for use in situations where there is discussion afterwards. Beautiful images, music and characters. The live rabbits add to the story and the young actor, Connor Stanhope shows great promise.
A toy rabbit yearns to become 'Real' through a child's love. Through his journey, the Velveteen Rabbit learns the mystery of Nursery Magic and becomes Real in more than one way. Created by student filmmaker, Denise Quesnel, whose goal with this film was to create community involvement through working with animal shelters, local actors and crew. Denise is an artist and filmmaker living in Vancouver, BC.
