Enjoyed it. The kids immediately started talking about the colors and the characters, the clothes and the animals, the rainbows, the cupcake shapes and the ice cream - all very kid friendly stuff. "I want to be Strawberry Shortcake." "I want to have that toy." "I like the puppy." They definitely wanted to watch it again and had fun with it but it will take some adult prompting to understand the lessons.
Fun, colorful video that make you feel happy just watching it. Many adults remember this show from their own childhoods and immediately relate to them. It flows nicely from start to finish. The stories address daily problems that are relevant to children. I.e.. learning how to get along with friends. It accomplishes the goal of making you think about choices you make in your life while enjoying the fun and fantasy of the show. Nicely produced with bright colors and adorable characters.
Strawberry and her friends bring two beloved fairy tales to life in magical adventures filled with very berry fun! In "Sleeping Beauty," Brambleberry Fairy (Angel Cake) feels neglected and casts a spell that puts Princess Strawberry Rose to sleep. The Princess's fairy friends (Appleberry, Rainbowberry, Gingerberry, Tangerinaberry and Orangeberry) aren't able to awaken her. It's up to Prince Huckleberry to work his magic - and teach Brambleberry Fairy an important lesson in friendship and listening.
