Cute story with good lessons and concepts. This simple story demonstrates many good qualities from scientific facts to friendship and understand of others. It is very short which is perfect for the target age. The storyline is simple to follow and the plot is smooth with a solid beginning, middle and end. Immediately, you are drawn into the story and find out the problem very quickly - people scared of the wind monster. Good conclusion because it shows that fear of things perceived as scary, the dragon, might be the result of a misunderstanding (the dragon happened to breathe wind inadvertently when sighing over the fact that no one visited0. Good pace, good progression. You want the friends to find the source of the wind and help the others. The dialogue is very natural and believable. The characters model good manners and behavior such as when Elliot picks up Sock's hat and Socks thanks him.
