A little girl plays with a puppet theater in her room, taking us on an adventure to France. This is part of a series which explores different places around the world and uses short stories to introduce each country.

Very sweet. Simple animation and simple story to which young children can relate. Emma is an animated character who lives in an animated world that looks very safe and familiar. This episode tells about how the baguette was invented and introduces the country of France, bakers, the hungry princess and a competition for being the best baker. The resolution is a satisfying compromise.
