Good concept for introducing simple concepts about feelings to toddlers. The animated characters are easy to identify, each one is a different color and has a different sound they make. Note that they speak a sort of gibberish that occasionally has an English word in it but mostly they gibber, sigh, groan and mumle. There is a male narrator who speaks excellent English and who guides the viewer through the show. The sets are simple and familiar - i.e.. an outside scene with trees and a blanket spread on the grass where the characters sit. A home with a bathroom that has a sink, a step stool and a mirror. When the character, Tickles figures out that he doesn't need the step stool any longer in order to see himself in the mirror, everyone celebrates.
Four magical creatures that solve everyday dilemmas represent different aspects in a growing toddler's life: contentment, curiosity, hunger and tiredness. Toddlers can relate to their own needs and feelings by identifying with a Cuddly.
