A Challenging, animated adventure of two unlikely yet charming robots who fall in love. Earth has become overrun by trash leaving only WALL-E (accompanied by a devoted cricket) to be the best he can be doing that which he was built to do-clean up and compact trash into neat little bundles. He is a happy gatherer of treasures and makes 'lemons into lemonade' with traits of good will, humor, steadfastness, creativity. Into this world comes Eva, sleek and shiny and very extraterrestrial. They overcome their fear and differences by their willingness to trust each other and, unknown to them, hold the key to earth's survival-a singular plant which introduces beauty and life into this intricate animated film of survival, patience, ingenuity, love, courage. The film moves forward at a good pace with brilliant visuals. it is a simple story however director Andrew Stanton packs it full of lessons, including the ultimate lesson of becoming who you are to the fullest of your ability-standing on your own two feet. The film promotes positive energy and sense of strength by understanding that love awakens the true self capably of making decisions for the good of the whole (earth family).
