Description:

KIDS FIRST!® Adult Juror Comments:

One of the many great benefits of this film is that it encourages children to explore museums. It also stimulates their imaginations as they try to figure out exactly what would happen if an ancient Egyptian pharaoh really did meet Napoleon. Battle of the Smithsonian offers a great use of humor, appropriate for audience and broadens the child's global and historical perspective.

KIDS FIRST!® KID Juror Comments:

View Hudi's revieweThe children asked about the famous individuals that came to life and wanted to learn more about them. The cinematography was great, especially when they were in the hall of painting. The optical illusions were cool. The characters were awesome. The way the characters interacted with each other was very amusing like when the pharaoh was putting together his legion of Al Capone, Ivan the Terrible and Alexander the Great. Ivan thought he should be Ivan the Great because he didn't think of himself as terrible. The kids didn't appreciate how Amelia Earhart had a romantic connection with Larry.
