This animated short has lovely imagery but the storyline is a bit difficult to follow as it jumps around from scene to scene. Jiajia, the artist, gives us insight into the village life which she portrays through her photographs and paintings. There is little dialogue but it is in Chinese with English sub-titles. I like how this gives us insight into another culture.
With artist Jiajia's experience in the small village, this story aims to draw people's attention to the emotion between farmer-worker parents and their children remaining in the rural area.
