Description:

This collection of classic winter holiday stories includes "The Little Drummer Boy", "One Zillion Valentines" and "Sam and the Lucky Monkey."

KIDS FIRST!® Adult Juror Comments:

This title includes three stories for different times in the winter including Christmas and Valentine's Day. It is easy to watch in small sections or all at once. The first story talks about sharing even when you don't have a lot. The second shows how to be creative when making valentines and giving them to others. The third highlights a little boy who has the money to spend and ends up helping someone else. Good moral lessons representing different races and cultures. "This might help children to think about ways they can help others." "The stories are well told and well illustrated." "It presents holidays from various times in winter and from different parts of the world."

KIDS FIRST!® KID Juror Comments:

Good movie. I like the animation on the Valentine one. I liked how it was kind of cartooned, but not totally cartooned. It was in-between. I like it where the guy says "I never get any Valentines then his friend gives him a Valentine." I like how in the Drummer Boy, with the singing, it shows what they are singing about. I like "The Lucky Money" because it's kind of like the "Joy" one because they show that you should give money to poor people. It's good to give.
