Very good movie. I like how it teaches you to be kind and donate money to the poor. I think you should hear the music the guy is playing, though. The images were really good. I liked how they showed the monkey in the guy's coat.
This is a beautiful DVD that I would love to share with my child both for its appearance and its moral value. This is a great message that is very suitable for children, especially ones who are starting to learn different ways they can help other people. Elegant, beautiful drawings and music. This is the type of DVD many people would like to have in their holiday library. It summarizes what the holiday season is about, reaching out and showing compassion towards those less fortunate than you. This titles is a treat for the eyes, has a great story and carries a fantastic message.
Frances is worried about the monkey and organ grinder who play near her window, especially after she sees them sleeping outside on the cold street after midnight. To express her compassion, she finds just the right thing to say at the local Christmas pageant. Narrated by Jane Curtin, with music by Ernest V. Troost.
