Holds the kid's attention and they ask a lot of questions along the way. They spoke extensively about enjoying all of the footage of lions and watching the whilte lion grow from a baby to an adult male lion. They really like seeing the animals up close and acting as they would in their natural habitat. The favorite part is when Gisani, a Native African boy, stepped in front of the hunter's gun and protected Natatsi, the white lion. Gisani shows courage and stands up for his beliefs.
Beautiful scenery and a compelling story about a white lion and a village boy that makes it his mission to keep the lion safe. The young cub is threatened by hyenas, separation from his mother, exile from the pack and as he grows finds friendship in other young lions. As many youngsters, they encounter excitement and get into mischief. The white lion becomes a legend and a hunter is determined to kill him, but Gisani, the village boy, now a man, saves him once again. This takes place in Africa and depicts scenes of the animals hunting and killing.
The adventurous journey of a rare white lion cub, who rises above many challenges to become one of the most powerful and revered lions in all of Africa. Features lions trained by Kevin Richardson, star of the NatGeo series, "The Lion Ranger"!
