Children sat still and remained interested. Kids were verbal and wiggled, bobbed their heads and danced along. "I want to play the violin!" Kids thought the characters were cute and fun. They wanted to watch it over and over.
Musical theory is addressed in a simple and understandable manner for young children. Simple instruction of 3/4 time and simple visuals and timing, like the flowers popping up the right timing. Wrapped up all the concepts well at the end. Uses "feelings or actions" to simply explain basic musical theory. Starts off with a simple introduction to music that can be sad or happy and then moved into more advanced areas, like musical terms such as Allegro and Staccato. Nice mixture of puppets and real animals in the introduction. Bright colors and fun characters.
Indie gets more than he bargains for when he employs Bunny to be his "One Bunny Band." Together, they learn how to put feeling into their music through such concepts a tempo, dynamics and articulation.
