I love Thomas. Why do their whole faces move? I like this because it teaches that sometimes we should ask for help instead of trying things by yourself. I think my friends would like this because they like movies with lessons. My favorite part was when Thomas was delivering the star, and it got broken. His friends helped him, and they got it to the place where it was supposed to be.

Sometimes you can make poor choices even when you are just trying to be nice. This is a lesson Thomas learns repeatedly in "Merry Winter Wish." Not to worry, though. He realizes his errors and apologizes for his silliness as his friends scurry to help him. Thomas learns the importance of thinking things through as he delights viewers with entertaining stories. The visuals are very clear, mixing live action and CGI animation. The Christmas music had children singing along. Thomas has delighted viewers for so long that you shouldn't be surprised if older siblings come to watch the DVD along with preschoolers. In our household, when I put on the DVD to review, kids wandered in and by the end of the DVD I had three teens and a tween also glued to the screen, enjoying the stories and remembering how much they loved Thomas when they were young, proving that this is a great DVD for the entire family.

Celebrate the holiday season with Thomas -- from building snowmen, preparing holiday surprises, and celebrating a Misty Island Christmas party.
