Nice story about how a friendship develops between a young boy and his handicapped neighbor. It shows how caring for others brings its own rewards. A boy seems overly interested in his handicapped neighbor and slowly a friendship is formed. His mother is so busy that she won't help her son find out more about his neighbor's multiple sclerosis. Clearly, both the man and boy need a friend and their friendship grows over time. One would hope that most parents would be a bit more supportive of their child's interest rather that seen in the somewhat negative light of this mother.
A young boy helps a neighboring piano virtuoso cope with the loss of his career due to progressive multiple sclerosis.
