A realistic, compassionate story of a young boy who is a champion runner and loses his leg to a landmine. Shows his struggles, sadness and anger. It kept my interest from beginning to end. Gives a great view of a child with disability and how he overcomes adversity to remain a champion.
A medal-winning runner, living in a border village, Daniel loses his foot to a landmine. His dad provides him with foot prosthesis. But it is the new foot that begins talking to him about a promise made by a kind angel: the foot will turn into a real one in case it could be a good one.
