Home on the Range is a fun movie. You can watch it all this month on HDnet Movies KidScene. This movie is a fun, family and pleasant movie because it's good for all ages. Home on the Range is about three cows trying to save the farm from the evil Alameda Slim who is taking up all of the farms and turning the cows into his cows. That's stealing and stealing is not good. Alamdea Slim (voiced by Randy Quaid) is very good in the role, and I just love how he yodels. One of the other three cows, Maggie, is played by Roseanne Barr. What's a western without Dennis Weaver? I loved this film because it is full of animated animals that are cute and adorable. I love how they talk; it was fun to play with. Actually, I like the chicks and the cows the best they were my favorite. I really like this movie because it's a fun family animated movie. Let's talk about the ages; I think this is good for ages are 4-9; it's a kid's movie! So, lasso your hats, put them on, grab the popcorn and sit down to watch Home on the Range. I give it 5 twinkling stars. Morgan Bertsch, age 7, KIDS FIRST! Film Critic.

You had better get ready to "bust a moo" because this movie will have you up and dancing in no time! Home on the Range is about a cow named Maggie who moves onto a dairy farm that is run by a sweet little old lady named Pearl. The farm is called A Patch of Heaven and there are many types of animals who live there such as cows, chickens and goats. When Maggie finds out that Pearl is about to lose the farm because she can't pay the rent, she partners up with two other cows to try to get money to help. The cows end up in some tough situations as they set out to save the farm. Maggie (Roseanne Barr) is a very confident and hopeful cow who really wants to help others. Mrs. Calloway (Judi Dench) is a hat -obsessed cow that rarely ever agrees with Maggie. Grace (Jennifer Tilly) is the third cow in this group who is determined to save the farm. She is funny because she sings totally off key but she thinks she is a good singer. Pearl (Carole Cook) is a very warm hearted woman who cares so much for her animals. There are many other famous actors who voice characters in this movie like Cuba Gooding, Jr. (Daddy Day Care and Jerry McGuire.) Also, Estelle Harris, who voices Audrey the Chicken, will sound very familiar people (Muriel on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and Mrs. Potato Head in the Toy Story movies.) The music in this film is pretty good. The theme song, entitled Home on the Range, is very catchy. Even though the animation is in 2D, it is still very exciting and fun to watch. The young animals are just so adorable that it actually made me say "awwww" a lot. Home on the Range is good for kids ages 4-12, as well as anyone who loves animals. It is a great story that the whole family can watch together. I am giving this film a 4 out of 5 stars. Look for the classic family film on HDNet Movies KidScene this month!
