Whizpops Sea Blue Sea music CD is awesome. It is very funny and rhythmic. The Whizpops do a great job writing enjoyable, upbeat music for each song. I like the CD so much I tap my fingers along to the beat of almost every song.

Throughout all the songs I learned about sea creatures that live inside and outside of the coral reefs. It is a good combination of music and education to explain what happens under the sea. For example, you learn about zooplankton, sea turtles and blue whales. You will have to listen for yourself to find out about all the other cool sea creatures and things they sing about.

This CD is so entertaining. I enjoyed all the musicians, different instruments, and music they played throughout the whole disc. I couldn't wait until the next song to see what they would play next! I especially like Matt Cornette who plays the banjo because he plays in all of my favorite songs and the banjo sounds really cool. My three favorite songs are Anglerfish, Coral Reef, and Manta Ray because they tell cool stories about each of the animals and have rock and roll type of music.

This CD by the Whizpops, shows that you can have fun learning about the sea and all of its creatures while listening to entertaining music.

I give this CD 5 out of 5 stars because it is funny, educational and the music makes you want to dance. I recommend it for kids ages 2 to 8, especially for those who like the ocean, sea animals and upbeat music. This is a CD the whole family can enjoy as I saw my dad dancing in the next room. .

Unlike the glorious manatee, Sea Blue Sea clips along at a rockin' pace and doesn't let up until we have been musically introduced to a variety of engaging underwater characters like the dolphin, manta ray, sea turtle and octopus among others that abide beneath the waves. The songs are exquisitely arranged and performed with a musical nod to the 80's forward - especially enjoyed the B-3 organ and guitar work. Clear and present vocals enhance the outstanding educational values embedded but not buried or lost in the upbeat arrangements. The Whizpops are a group to be reckoned with - Jump on in the waters fine. Love the music, my kind of stuff. A variety of musical influences from the 80s on up! Sounds like a live band. No pun intended but, there is a nice ebb and flow to the album as the artists share the wonders of the sea. Excellent use of musical styles from rock to reggae. The quality reflects the research that the artist have included on the manatee, dolphin, manta ray, sea turtle and more. Enthralling for their audience. Most children are intrigued by the ocean and its inhabitants. What's not to like? The artists know their audience well and are very respectful, no condescending allowed. This album is a guide to the wonders of the sea disguised as a flat-out fun and gun rock album. Reviewed by John Wood.
This new album of original songs delivers educational content via a zany range of characters and grooving, upbeat music in a range of styles. In all, the 10 tunes present key facts about the ocean and its inhabitants in a lighthearted and engaging way, often from the perspective of the subject animal.
