This film has a little of everything: a little comedy, a little adventure, education and entertainment. The main two characters are a older sister and a younger brother who have the ability to time travel to the past via a Steam Train. In this short film, they travel back to Indiana to the year 1824 and meet young Abe Lincoln who is a 16-year-old teenager at the time. There are special effects worth mentioning such as when the train disappears and appears. There are also villains who don't add all that much to the main story but they do add some humor. They do add some off the wall comedy aspects the film. It is appropriate and entertaining and the young time travelers make a difference in the young Abe's life. They give young Abe the confidence not to give up on his education. This film shows how powerful words are and how important reading can be. It is also filled with many important meaningful quotes of inspiration from Abe Lincoln. I recommend this film for its entertainment and educational aspects and give it 4 stars. Accepted for film festival play.
Think, "Back to the Future" meets The History Channel when a brother and sister learn from their grandfather that they can travel back through time on an old time steam locamotive and visit some of America's greatest men and women from history.
