THANK GOD FOR JELLY cover image
I think a child would enjoy this film because it follows children on an a small quest to thank someone. The most appealing thing about this film is that all different ages of children can relate to it. Something you should be aware of is the religious overtone and references to God. It is one of the most important themes in this film. This film has a great structure and makes sense. The plot flows easily and it is very watchable. It has accurate information about how jelly is made and tells it in a simple way that even young children can understand. The production quality was great. There are many different sets which make the story come alive. The costumes are appropriate. The special effects are a little sloppy, but this might have been intentional. The lighting is great throughout the film, even outdoors. The camera and sound production are both clear both too see and to hear. I recommend this film for playing at a film festival because it has a great message about gratitude and being grateful for what you have. This might be categorized as a religious or spiritual film. I give this film 4 out of 5 stars because of its sound and production quality. I recommend it for ages 7 to 16. Although it does not possess star power, the actors are very relatable. Recommended, Linda D., KIDS FIRST! Film Critic.

A girl's mission is to carry out her father's values on gratitude and goes on a journey with her stuffed rabbit, brother and two friends in order to do so. What she finds is clearly unexpected.
