Wonderful film. It promotes creativity, hope, love, teamwork and love. The characters, Bela and Lua start as bullies but become friends with the main character. I feel this is very important as that doesn't happen a lot in media. All four of the main girls are likeable and relatable. There are also segments of this film that are animated in an origami fashion. They are used to show off Luz's creativity and I think they succeed. The music and the vocals at the end are very pleasant and the song is very unique. This film is creative, imaginative and inspiring. The pacing works quite well. I like how the main character believes in a Japanese legend. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 8 to 18 as well as adults. Reviewed by Calista B. and Julie S., KIDS FIRST!
