The Coalition for Quality Children’s Media will celebrate its 9th Annual KIDS FIRST! Best Day and Awards Celebration on Saturday, October 4th at the magnificent Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, 5220 Lankershim in North Hollywood, CA.
Returning this year as one of the celebrity hosts is Mallory Lewis, daughter of beloved children’s entertainer Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop, recipients of the 2007 KIDS FIRST! Palmer-Vision Award.
A focus of this year's event are films for the tween and teen audiences and the talent associated with them. Other presenters tba.
In addition to five “Best of Fest” Award winners, this year’s KIDS FIRST! Best Awards are given for 32 different categories, with special accommodations for studio films, independent films, and student films. For a complete list of this year's nominees, go here.
We will be premiering the new film, "Soccer Mom" starring Emily Osment who is scheduled to appear. Also, "Adventures of Food Boy," starring Lucas Grabeel. Brittany Curran, Kunal Sharma and Jeff Braine are scheduled to appear.

Coalition for Quality Children's Media, a national, 17-year-old, nonprofitprofit (501-c-3) organization that is a voluntary collaboration between the media industry, educators and child advocacy organizations.
