but his constant off-key clamor drives everyone bonkers. Clifford doesn't
want to hurt his feelings by telling him the truth about his singing.
Eventually, Norville's singing evokes "boos" and his feelings
get hurt. He wonders why no one told him the truth; meanwhile Clifford
