This sequel to 2006&#8217;s award-winning movie Cars is in theaters now, and KIDS FIRST! film critic Ny&#8217;Asia Bell (age 7) gives us several reasons to make Cars 2 a summer entertainment choice.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Cars 2<br \/>\nReviewed by Ny&#8217;Asia Bell<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Today I will be reviewing the new<\/em> Cars 2<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This movie was great &#8211; full of fast cars, lots of action and flawless animation.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Lightning McQueen is voiced by Owen Wilson, and his long-time best friend, tow Mater, is voiced by Larry the Cable Guy. They accept a challenge from Francesco Bernoulli (John Turturro) to compete in the World Grand Prix in Tokyo. While there, Mater gets mistaken for an American secret agent, and eventually helps to solve a big and dangerous case.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>My favorite characters are Mater, because of his courage and humor. He is a real hero.<br \/>\nThen there are the characters Holley Shiftwell (Emily Mortimer) and Finn McMissile (Michael Caine). I loved all their cool gadgets.<a onclick=\"ps_imagemanager_popup(this.href,'NyAsiaBell_forweb.jpg','200','267');return false\" onfocus=\"this.blur()\" href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.kidsfirst.org\/kidsfirstnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/NyAsiaBell_forweb.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"200\" title=\"NyAsiaBell_forweb.jpg\" align=\"right\" alt=\"NyAsiaBell_forweb.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.kidsfirst.org\/kidsfirstnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/thumbs\/th-NyAsiaBell_forweb.jpg?resize=150%2C200\" border=\"0\" vspace=\"5\" hspace=\"5\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nMy favorite part of the film is when Mater cracks the case and finds out what car is behind all this mayhem.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nI rate this movie 4 out of 5 stars, because it does contain some violent scenes.
