The Roommate Reviewed by KIDS FIRST! Film Critic Raven Devanney

Roommate.jpgThe Roommate is the story of a crazy chick who doesn’t take her meds and wants to be her college roommate’s only friend.

This movie was scary but it wasn’t very good. It was supposed to be a thriller but it wasn’t very suspenseful and it wasn’t scary enough to be horror. I think the rating PG-13 was good because there wasn’t really any language or sexual content and the horror level was low. The only part that was sooo horrible it made me cry was when the crazy lady put the cutest little kitten in the washing machine.

It really bugged me when Rebecca, the crazy person, beat herself up. It was kind of scary and gross and made me sick when she broke her own face!! It was, like I said, not very good.
I had a fun time seeing it with my friends, but I wouldn’t watch it again. Wait ‘til its out on DVD.
I think this movie would be good for a sleepover with friends because it is a good RavenAM.jpgmovie to socialize in if you don’t have to completely watch it.

I give this movie 2 stars because I wasn’t very impressed but the acting was really good and believable.
