Many cultural institutions will be celebrating by offering free or reduced admissions to children and families.<\/p>\n<p>The United Way of Allegheny County, is using Won\u2019t You Be My Neighbor? Day as a way to kick off a \u201ccommitment to volunteer\u201d effort, as well as to say thank you to their volunteers. The day\u2019s activities will include volunteer fairs at corporations and community sites, where agencies will be available to promote volunteer opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>Won\u2019t You Be My Neighbor? Day gives everyone\u00a0the opportunity to say \u201dThank you\u201d to\u00a0your neighbors, &#8212; for\u00a0 their\u00a0ongoing support of your work and\u00a0is a great way to honor Fred Rogers\u2019 legacy.<\/p>\n<p>As Fred often said \u201cthank you\u201d are the two most important words in the English language.
