Definitely a topic kids are sensitive about. Eleven-year-old girls commented: "It shows what to expect when I get my first period. I'm not as fearful or confused now. It's a normal part of becoming a woman." They enjoyed seeing how other cultures celebrate this rite of passage, and loved seeing how Indian girls are feasted and given gifts in their honor. |
