Description:

A musical animated tale that follows the exciting journey of a young orphan girl, Sophianna, and her unlikely band of adventurers as they help recover Santa's magical toy sack made from the swaddling clothes that kept the baby Jesus warm in the manger. Throughout her pursuit for the elusive sack, Sophianna teams up with a feisty elf, an ambitious young reindeer, and a fox and polar bear duo. In the end, our young heroine and her allies each discover their potential for compassion, loyalty and the importance of never losing hope. Animation with voices of Ed Asner, Kathy Bates, Madison Davenport, Colin Ford, Jay Leno and Andy Griffith.

A new Christmas musical in 2D animation. Excellent music and voices. A nice addition to anyone's Christmas collection. Crisp, clear colors, and stellar voice cast. Sophianna is sweet without being saccharine, and knowledgeable. As an orphan, her loneliness is only surpassed by her joyful demeanor. And she seems to have a knack for good luck. Delightful new songs that stick with you. One of my favorite things is that this film doesn't talk down to kids. It treats them as if they're intelligent human beings with real ideas and thoughts.
