Marginally engaging. Kids who don't know their letters are the ideal audience. On the first review of the alphabet, one girl was excited that when they presented the letter, "A." She said, "That's my name. (Her name starts with the letter "A"). When the show repeated , one child couldn't understand why they showed it again. That frustrated her. All the kids participated at some point during the show. One child stood by the TV and traced the letters as they were being formed on the screen. Kids all repeated the sounds of the alphabet though most lost interest around the letter "m." They did enjoy the music.
Entertaining as well as educations. Very simple, bright and colorful. Great music! The alphabet is presented and uses children throughout the presentation. The onscreen talent are pretty amateurish. This is not a highly polished production but it has its charm, particularly in the music. And, if you are looking for an unusual way to present the alphabet, this will do it. The adult jurors didn't show the segment featuring Professor Good and Kind to the kids because he appears to be smoking a pipe and their schools discourage smoking or showing scenes with smoking featured.
Created by a Kindergarten Teacher, using live action, original music and colorful animation children will learn letter name, letter sound, sound blending and rhyme. Bilingual information for parents. English and Spanish track.
