Allison, a seven-year-old Cocker Spaniel, has conflicting feelings about her parents' divorce. Torn between sadness, anger and fear, Allison ultimately makes peace with herself and her family, with humor from the cat.

Divorce is such a difficult thing for kids to deal with. This animated piece addresses some of the key issues that kids face when their parents divorce, when their parents begin to date other people, fall in love with other people and perhaps even remarry. The animation is nicely done, 2D, the narration clear and childlike. It offers a lot of good talking points for kids whose parents are considering divorce or have already gotten divorced. The Dad is pretty much out of the picture at the beginning of the show and comes back in when the parents remarry.
