WHAT LIVES ON cover image
This film addresses an intense subject in a meaningful collage of images that display the emotions a young man would experience when dealing with the death of a sibling. It's very well done and emotional without being indulgent. The use of meditation to deal with his feelings is well represented and shows a useful tool for dealing with a situation such as this. Student film, high school.
A young man nervously awaits a call from his mother. When the phone rings, he learns of his brother's death. He uses meditation to deal with grief and anger and we see images reflecting his relationship with his brother.
