I really liked this film because there is so much music and singing in it. Adam is about 30 years old and he's a failing composer. His record label is about to dump him and a magical boy appears, though Adam doesn't know he's magical. Adam shares his sandwich with the boy, gives him a ride and then he finds a gift in his car when he gets home. This magical gift helps him realize his dreams.
Very enjoyable. Well done student film. I like the idea of this film. It addresses an issue most can relate to. I like seeing him praying for help. The lead character played by Ron Hanks is very believable. The ending brings things together for Adam by reminding him of what's important to him. Well produced, good music, good storyline, very inspiring. I wouldn't hesitate to program it in your festival. Even the curmudgeonly label guy smiles in the end. If you are a kind, loving and groups person, your gift is probably just around the corner.
With only 24 hours to save his job, a Songwriter at the end of his rope discovers that his moment of generosity to a young stranger (amidst his own darkest moments) is rewarded with inspiration to create his best song yet.
