Parents describe their KIDS FIRST! Film Critics' Experience

Parents describe their kids' participation best. Talia Rashba's parents commented, "Written and oral communications are two of the best assets one can develop, and being a kid's film critic is a fantastic way to achieve this! With the KIDS FIRST thorough training, she now has real tools to help her formulate her opinions, communicate her thoughts and inspire others to evaluate what they are being offered in the media." More comments here.

Why Do You Want Your Child Involved?

We don't expect everyone who enters to pursue a career as a film critic. But, the skills the child learns simply by entering the campaign are useful. And, the winners are coached by leading professionals who help them develop skills that will last them a lifetime. On top of that, it's a blast! They get to see all the new film and DVD releases, meet celebrities and industry professionals and more...

Involve your school, library, community center, film center.

“The KIDS FIRST! movie reviewers came to our junket and our premiere, and were among the most eloquent and informed reporters to attend. The training that KIDS FIRST! gives to these children provides not only professional skills, but poise and confidence as well. They are a great source of empowerment for young people and a wonderful outlet for anyone who works with children and families.” Eileen Potrock, Marketing Consultant, BIG Balloon Adventure Movie, LLC.
