HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER
Enthralled; younger ones snuggled in their older sibling's laps. This age understands this is make-believe. They enjoyed the magical content and the adventure. Asked, "Are wizards real?" "How will Harry and his friends get passed the 3-headed dog."
Funny, whimsical and classic. Good triumphs over evil. Incredible fantasy with witchcraft and wizardry in a non-replicable fashion. Children are respectful in their boarding school environment. Some violence but not gratuitous. Scary for itty bitties.
Adaptation of the book. Harry Potter learns on his 11th birthday that he is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards and possesses magical powers of his own. He is sent off to wizard school where the fun and adventure begins.
