Very suitable for children with good visual examples of feeding, cleaning, and caring for a new dog or sick dog. Shows different types of dogs. Models respect for one's pet dog. Some content is for older kids, yet the puppets are definitely more for younger ones. Information is good and focused on a child's safety and happiness around animals. |

Kids loved seeing the dogs onscreen. Kids liked "Super Vet." Youngest ones loved the puppet pet characters; older ones found them too babyish. Kids talked about giving dogs baths, taking them to the vet, and finding kitty a new home. Some suggestions for training and caring for animals requires actions a younger child is incapable of, such as bathiing a dog. They liked the songs and talked about their pets after viewing. |
