Mixed responses. Several children, mostly 3- and 4-year-olds understood the actions and played along. Younger kids were puzzled by the activities. Parents tried to stimulate involvement but clearly, the older ones enjoyed it best. Parents had to actively model the exercises to get the kids involved. Some parents used younger children as "weights" to increase the value of the exercises. Bouncing the little ones in time to the music got some grins. |
