Good underdog wins story. The young boy's concern about beating his nemesis is something that everyone can relate to. We've all had similar challenges to deal with at some point in time. Tommy Brighton is a bully with an overbearing Dad who takes over making his son's derby car - to the point of not even allowing him to participate. Will's team is the obvious underdog but shows heart, and the ending is no surprise, except for the very final scene. Heartwarming. .
