HOW
Kids enjoyed it. "We liked it because we had never seen all the small parts it takes to make a truck before." "My friends will like this because trucks are cool." "The pictures show exactly what the narrator is describing. "" We liked the funny music." The children wanted to know where the factory is located and if there is one near their home.
This series doesn't hesitate to get right into the middle of the production of large vehicles and show the viewer everything from the ground up. Watching how a truck is made and then used is not only interesting but also exciting to young viewers. The pieces come together like a puzzle. It explains in detail how trucks are made and defines new terms that children may not understand. Makes wonderful use of analogies to explain concepts to children. Compares the stamping process to using play dough so that kids can relate to it. Employees wear protective gear so safety is emphasized. Anyone interested in trucks or the assembly process will find this interesting. It does feature only one brand of truck (International). The part where the robot painters are synchronized to the background music is especially charming. The fun fact segments give tidbits of information that are interesting and helpful.
Ever wonder where big trucks come from? Tour International's truck plant as they manufacture one from the beginning. Get close to the robots and machinery, sit in the cab and see how they work. See what it takes with colorful 3-D models and Hi-def action.
