FINDING SKUNK APE

With some minor changes, this screenplay would be very entertaining to both children and adults and promote interest in the world around them. However, many viewers might not appreciate the dishonesty in the film. A boy learns about himself, his family and friendship as he researches a legend for a school project. Things get out of hand as he chooses to pretend to be the mythical skunk ape, but turns out in his favor when they discover the ape really does exist. A weak point is the profanity, words such as "Oh, my God" and "douche." Most swearing is extraneous and could easily be eliminated.

Two high schoolers form an unlikely partnership as they endeavor upon a wild adventure to discover the truth behind Florida's own Bigfoot - the Skunk Ape!
