KIDS FIRST!® Adult Juror Comments: |
|
Anil is an Indian teen who wants to be a samurai. Kids would find his awkward mannerisms and strange encounters with "normal" people funny and entertaining. In this story about following a dream, in spite of the challenges along the way, Anil's awkwardness shows itself as he works in his mother's Indian grocery store. Through a series of small rebellions and a new friend, Anil learns that he actually can follow his dream and he is not simply defined by where he works. Common teenage struggles define this film with a humorous twist that will entertain your audience. Good cinematography, sets and audio production although we did experience some audio volume issues in the beginning and in the fight scenes. |
