A story of mystery, showing that bullies always lose in the end and the pay off that comes with being kind. Shows that friendships run deep and that being different isn't necessarily a bad thing. The writer has creatively interwoven this story about four kids, who have some interesting traits and odd similarities. Some stereotyping of "bad people" could be tempered and one scene about bodily functions made me very uncomfortable. Otherwise, this is a clever and interesting story that will appeal to kids and relate to their lives, while also introducing the hint of magic and superheroes.
