In "A Charlie Brown Valentine," Charlie Brown fantasizes about what would happen if he went up to this little red haired girl and talked to her or even gave her a valentine. Meanwhile Linus is trying to convince Sally that he is not her "Sweet Baboo", Lucy is trying to get Schroeder to give her a valentine, and Peppermint Patty is trying to get Charlie Brown or as she calls him, Chuck, to invite her to the valentines dance.
I think that this movie has a pretty predictable plot line; Charlie Brown wants something, he never gets it, everything he tries to do turns out as a disaster, Lucy doesn't get Schroeder, Sally still loves Linus and thinks that he loves her no matter what he does or says, etc.
All in all I think that this is an ok movie, it is pretty much what you would expect from a Charlie Brown special. As a 13-year-old, I just don't like this genre of film so that probably has something to do with it. However, all of you who have enjoyed the Charlie Brown movies in the past, will, probably enjoy this one too.
I give this film a five out of ten stars because to me there was nothing original about it.
Also on this disk is another film called: You'll Find Her Some Day Charlie Brown.

Love is in the air as Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang make plans to celebrate the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday. It's the most romantic time of the year and everyone has big hopes of having their dreams of love and friendship fulfilled. Charlie Brown once again finds himself wishing he had the courage to ask the Little Red-Haired Girl to the dance. While he pines away for her, Peppermint Patty and Marcie do their best to woo him.
Unrequited love abounds with the Peanuts gang. Lucy demands kisses and chocolates from Schroeder to no avail. Sally is intent on making Linus her sweet baboon. Snoopy has taken to writing bad poetry on his typewriter. Charlie Brown and his pals may be unlucky in love but they are fortunate in friendship in this heartfelt holiday treat.
